What is a coral reef?

A coral reef is a beutiful place under water.It is also a habitat to many fish and other creatures.It's also going to be destroyd because we are over fishing and polluting the water.A coral reef is made out of polyps.A polyp is a cell that when it forms it sticks to other poyps to make a reef.Coral reefs are under water structures made from calcium and corbonate.

Pollution

Pollution is the biggest threat to reefs.People are throwing garbage anywhere and everywhere.Garbage may land on coral reefs and kills the polyps.Bouts are filled with tourists that damage the reef two times faster because the fumes and people touching /standing and takeing to make money.
